This training course will teach students how to use the Smart View Microsoft add-in. Students will learn how to access Hyperion content and applications, run reports, create basic queries, set preferences and much more via the web enabled Workspace. We'll teach you how to query and analyze data, create spreadsheet reports, and design advanced queries via the Smart View add-in. We will also discuss how to load and recalculate data to explore "what-if" scenarios. We'll teach students how to pull in BI+ content into Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, such as writing letters in Word that include Essbase numbers and making PowerPoint presentations using graphs from Web Analysis. This knowledge is gained through material review and hands on exercises. This course is tailored for end users of the Smart View add-in.
