Request Registration Information | | Converting Hyperion Web Analysis to OBIEE Answers/Dashboards 11G | | Tuesday, 17 August, 2010 11:00 AM |
Hyperion Web Analysis is not Oracle's strategic direction for ad-hoc analysis (against cubes or otherwise). Oracle is going to be putting all their research and development into OBIEE Answers and Dashboards. With the newest release of OBIEE Answers and Dashboards (11g), you now have much better access against Essbase, so the question is: how do I migrate from Web Analysis to Answers? Does it really report and analyze against Essbase in a multi-dimensional view? Well, there isn't a migration tool, but we'll show you how recreate your core Web Analysis functionality in Answers/Dashboard and show you how you can slice and dice against Essbase sources. In one hour, you'll be well on your way to moving to OBIEE 11G against Essbase! This session is intended for Hyperion developers/administrators familiar with Web Analysis.
