Arlington, Texas, August 4, 2014 – interRel CEO, Edward Roske, heads to Brazil and ACE Director, Glenn Schwartzberg, heads to Panama to kickoff the Oracle Technology Network’s 2014 Latin America Tour. The tour runs August 2nd through August 19th with 12 conferences in major cities throughout Central and South America.
This marks the fifth consecutive Latin America Tour for OTN, and it remains completely managed by local Oracle Users Groups in each region. With over 50,000 Oracle users in Latin America, the tour attracts professionals of all ages, and over the years has seen a significant increase in female participants.
“The OTN Latin America Tour has exemplified huge growth in the Latin region for the past four years and has become the largest Oracle evangelism event in the Latin America community. This could not have happened without Edward Roske and Glenn Schwartzberg. The quality of the tour is only compared to the quality of the speakers,” said Francisco Munoz Alvarez, President of the Latin America Oracle User Council.
Glenn Schwartzberg will speak at the tour’s northern stops, while Edward Roske will take the stage during the tour’s southern stops.
“My first OTN Latin America tour was back in 2009 to Chile. This is now the fifth year OTN will be visiting Latin America and the growth has been outstanding. I am thrilled to see how Hyperion and Oracle have grown in developing markets and I can’t wait to continue evangelizing for Oracle EPM and BI,” stated interRel CEO, Edward Roske, who will be speaking in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Uruguay.
Glenn Schwartzberg added, “Having spent a lot of time sharing information on the Hyperion EPM products in the United States, I am excited to bring my expertise into new countries by joining the OTN Latin America Tour.” Schwartzberg will be speaking in Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Columbia.
