The ODTUG Board of Directors serves the community at large with the primary responsibilities of guiding the direction of ODTUG and increasing contact with Oracle Corporation’s upper management and other experts in the development community. Sarah’s Board platform had one key initiative: build communication between the different communities within ODTUG and build an understanding of what each community track does.
“I am extremely honored to be elected to the ODTUG Board of Directors. This is an amazing opportunity to get involved and lead an organization that I respect wholeheartedly. I was a graduate of the ODTUG Leadership Group last year and am anxious to implement lessons learned from my time in that program,” said Zumbrum. “I will be working with a fantastic group of people that are dedicated to one thing – ODTUG’s success and international leadership as a premier user group focused on Oracle. I cannot wait to get started on January 1, 2015.”
ODTUG President, Monty Latiolais, said, “I’ve known Sarah since she was accepted into the inaugural ODTUG Leadership Program. Early on, it was clear that she had a bright future in the organization. Her enthusiasm for all things ODTUG is contagious. I’m absolutely confident that Sarah will make an excellent board member and well-represent interRel, the greater EPM community and the entire ODTUG membership.”
Sarah is an active member of the Oracle EPM community and continually looks for opportunities for involvement to enhance the user community’s experiences. Sarah’s involvement within the EPM community includes presenting at ODTUG Kscope, OAUG Connection Point, East Coast Oracle Users Conference, and Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group Training Days.
